Originally from Santiago, Chile, Cárcamo has developed a unique approach that reflects a deep sensitivity to transitions, moments where the past and future intersect. He works primarily with plaster, a medium through which he conveys notions of fluidity, lightness, and depth. His sculptures often explore the tension between texture and form, resulting in works that feel at once rooted in history and entirely contemporary. From his Paris studio, he investigates how objects interact with space, inviting reflection on presence, memory, and transformation.
