Jimmy Delatour

Jimmy Delatour, visionary designer and founder of Delatour Design Paris, blending Modernist and Brutalist influences to redefine concrete furniture. Collaborating globally, his creations captivate at Serafini's furiosalone 2024.

His path took a new turn with the creation of Brutalist totems - contemporary sculptures with a more conceptual approach aiming to strengthen the human bond and spirit - as well as with the creation of the Origins Collection, a tribute to the Australian Aboriginal land and its original owners. Now collaborating with brands and galleries around the world from USA (gallery StudioTwentySeven), through France (Armel Soyer Gallery) down to Australia (Freeman Gallery), Jimmy is proud to collaborate with Serafini to present the “Anti-table” during the furiosalone 2024 at the new Serafini gallery.

This would be the start of a creative journey focused on strong volumes pieces with a deep connection to architecture. While some pieces of furniture are designed to fit into existing spaces, Jimmy applies himself to design objects claiming their presence, playing on the notions of weight, balance and material. He seeks a fair measure between elementary use, the sensory dimensions, so that function and form dialogue with space, stimulate or surprise.
